Sideways-knit Hats encourage playing with colour, and Parallelo is a great starting point to explore the short-row colourwork technique. Mix and match the panels as desired to create a Hat with more or fewer contrast lines – it’s an ideal stashbuster and enormous fun to work!

With this construction, sizing is achieved through gauge alone, so be sure to swatch carefully and choose the right needle size. The pattern includes charted instructions and tutorials for provisional cast-on, German short rows and Kitchener stitch in garter pattern.
