Short and long stripes alternate, each ending in a shapely leaf. Short rows are at play here in both the leaves and the background fabric, delivering constant surprises in the knitting and a perfectly balanced shape.

The pattern is written for three sizes, with sizing achieved through gauge, and includes tutorials for German Short Rows and Kitchener Stitch.

Featuring short row colourwork, each of the Lateralis Hats is knit sideways and grafted. Unlike other sideways knit Hats, these patterns aren’t constructed from panels, and they will lead you on an altogether different adventure. The pattern is provided as a map for the short rows - a directional chart - that will help guide you through the pattern.

The Lateralis eBook contains detailed photographic tutorials, and individual patterns contain illustrated tutorials.
