I guess it's no surprise that I'm not a huge fan of beanies, given that I tend not to design them much. Generally I don't find them very challenging, sculpturally speaking. The watchcap, beanie, or whatever you wish to call them, has to be the most common design shape for Hats. Probably the most knitted, too, which I think is also another reason why I don't do them much - I try to be a little different ;) I do often wonder why they are so popular.

So why has my brain latched on to a number of design ideas, based around that half-dome shape? It's not as if I haven't got enough to do... and this idea of perhaps doing another budget collection of 10 unisex half-dome Hats with a twist keeps bugging me.

Still, the new website is slowly coming together and I'll be transferring my domain names soon which is exciting! The only layout that I'm not happy with is the home page, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with it.

Suppose I'd better get knitting then. And hope that one day my brain will slow down.
