This gorgeous slouchy lace Hat was originally published in the Knit On The Net magazine,. It has since been thoroughly revised, with fresh charts and new tech editing. 

Knit sideways using short rows for shaping, this really is a custom fit knit - simply knit to fit!

Sizes:

• To fit size: 18 (20, 22) inches, 45.75 (50.75, 56) cm
• Finished size:16 (18, 20) inches, 40.5 (45.75, 50.75) cm

Materials:

• 114g/225yds/206m Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted
  OR 113g/250yds/229m Dream in Colour Classy 
• Pair 4.5mm straight needles
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers as necessary
• Approx. 2m waste yarn
• Gauge 20sts x 24rows to 10cm/4inches

Skills required:

• Knit and purl stitches
• Short rows
• Lace
• Provisional cast-on
• Kitchener stitch
