The Whirly Rib cap is a fun and stylish Hat that is knitted on the bias using an eyelet rib stitch. Ideally this Hat should be left unblocked for a perky, twirly finish, but can also be blocked out to sit and drape like a full beret.

This Hat is a good showcase for hand-dyed and variegated yarns, yet it also looks wonderful in solid and semi-solid colours.

Sizes:

• To fit size:–18 (20, 22) inches, 45.5 (51, 55.75) cm
• Finished size:– 16 (17.75, 19.5) inches, 40.5 (45, 49.75) cm

Materials:

• 100g/180m/197yds Natural Dye Studio BFL Aran
• Set 4.5mm DPN's
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers as necessary
• Gauge 20sts to 10cm/4inches

Skills required:

• Knit and purl stitches
• Knitting in the round
• Increase & decrease techniques
• Eyelets (yo, k2tog)
