A fun Hat that uses large sequins (or even beads if you wish) for texture and colour. Quick to knit with a reverse stocking stitch body - ideal as an introduction to the techniques used throughout this book.

Materials:

• 100g/183m/200yds Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Superwash Worsted
• 54 (60, 60) large sequins/paillettes
• Pair of 4mm straight needles
• Approx. 2m waste yarn
• Gauge 20sts x 26rows to 10cm/4inches

Skills required:

• Knit and purl stitches
• Provisional cast-on
• Kitchener stitch
• Short rows (w&t)
