This is a great quick knit, worked in the round from the bottom up. Light and refreshing, this is ideal Hat for spring or autumn.

The knitted bobble is optional, and the Hat can be left unblocked as shown for a gentle cap, or blocked out to open the lace for a beret finish.

Sizes:

• To fit size: 18 (20, 22) inches, 46 (51, 56) cm
• Finished size: 16 (17.75, 19.5) inches, 40.5 (45, 49.5) cm

Materials:

• 114g/206m/225yds Lorna's Shepherd Worsted Multi or Solids
  OR 113g/256m/280yds Schaefer Yarn's Miss Priss
• Set 4.5mm DPN's
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers as necessary
• Gauge 18sts x 24rows to 10cm/4inches

• Knit and purl stitches
• Knitting in the round
• Increase & decrease techniques
• Basic lace (eyelets)
