Risalire is a modern take on the traditional bonnet. The brim is worked flat and shaped with short rows to reflect the traditional style. The body is then worked vertically, with a few increases to create body and a gathered crown.

The split brim serves to keep the ears warm and fit snuggly at the neck. The gentle slouchy body features a stepped twisted stitch pattern that creates an optical illusion from a distance, and up close makes the most of wildly variegated hand painted yarns.

Available either as a single pattern or as part of the Painted Woolly Toppers collection.
