The technical challenge with this beret lies with the knitted pleat formation near the crown, which help give this Hat it's fullness and drape, making it a refreshing alternative to a regular beret.

Best worked in a yarn with good drape at a slightly loose gauge.

Sizes:

• To fit size: 19 (21, 23) inches, 48 (53, 58.5) cm
• Finished size: 15.6 (17.75, 20) inches, 39.5 (45, 50.5) cm

Materials:

• 100g/235m/258yds Wendy Merino DK
• Set 3.75mm DPN's
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers as necessary
• Gauge 22sts to 10cm/4inches

• Knitting in the round
• Increase & decrease techniques
• Knitted pleats
