YF – bring yarn forward (to the front of work), then take back over the needle to work next stitch. Creates a false stitch. Can be substituted with a YO

P2tog – purl the next two stitches together. Decreases one stitch.

I-cord - cast on the required amount of stitches and knit across. Slip the stitches back to the working end of the needle. Pull yarn firmly around the back and continue to knit from stitch one again. Repeat until desired length.

W&T – slip the next stitch purlwise onto right needle, bring yarn forward, slip stitch back to left needle, turn work and continue to next row.Tip: – when knitting across these slipped & wrapped stitches, pick up the wrapped part by putting your needle into the part of the loop at the front of the work (right side), then place onto left needle and knit both wrap & stitch together by knitting into the back of both stitches. This avoids any holes and gives a neater finish.
