Opal is named for the gentle air bender in Season 2 of the Avatar. With this Hat, the short rows create soft, swirly clouds which push and pull the air currents.
Featuring short row colourwork, each of the Elemental Hats is knit sideways and grafted. The pattern contains a map for the short rows - a directional chart - that will help guide you through the pattern.
The Elemental book and eBook will contain detailed photographic tutorials, and individual patterns will contain illustrated tutorials.
