Originally designed in 2005, this pattern has received a complete makeover. This new version of this pattern includes fresh photographs, a range of sizes and UK & US terms. The pattern has been thoroughly revised by a crochet tech editor.

Sizes:

• To fit size: 18 (21, 23) in, 45.75 (53.25, 58.5) cm
• Finished size: 16 (18.25, 20.5) in/ 40.75 (46.5, 52) cm

Materials:

• 52 (59, 66) g/87 (99, 112) m/95 (109, 123) yd of colour A

  46 (53, 61) g/78 (90, 103) m/85 (99, 113) yd of colour B

  11g/18m/20yd for the swatch (in either colour)

  Rowan Pure Wool Aran
• 4.5mm crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers as necessary

Gauge:

• 14dc x 16rows to 4in/10cm

Skills required:

• Slip stitches
• Chain stitches
• Increase & decrease techniques
• UK double crochet/US single crochet
• Changing between 2 colours
