With Mayrose we see a classic lace stitch (Feather & fan) used in a beret. The lace is shaped so that the pattern graduates towards the crown effortlessly, creating a timeless design.

This pattern was originally published as part of the 2009 Woolly Wormhead Mystery Hat KAL.

Materials:

• 100g/250m/270yds Sirdar Balmoral OR 100g/270m/296yds Novita Wool DK
• Set 3.75mm DPN's
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers as necessary
• Gauge 22sts x 28rows to 10cm/4inches
