Work on Bambeanies is progressing rapidly, and we're at the stage of organising the photo shoots (the first one on sunday!) finishing samples, getting the first patterns off to tech editors, getting the last patterns off to test knitters and talking things through about the techniques section with the illustrator. And that's just the book madness.
I'm worried for my Mum, who nearly lost everything in a fire that was started deliberately in the early hours of tuesday morning. Seems it is the season to be settling light to the gorse around Ireland, and sadly none of these idiots seem to think about the damage they cause. The fire spread from the road at the bottom of her plot, and within 20 minutes it was only a metre from her log cabin. Fortunately the over stretched fire brigade reached her just in time, but understandably she's very upset and stressed and we're all concerned for her.
So as you can see, life is a little crazy right now. There's so much going on, and my day only allows an hour or so realistically to answer emails, else no other work would get done. But even if I could quadruple that amount of time, I'm still getting more emails than I can physically answer in a day. As much as I'd love to reply to everyone I can't - and I have to prioritise. I hope you understand if I'm not able to reply to everyone :)
