Basel is a beanie with an interesting sweeping, spiral like texture. The lines of stitches adorning this Hat come out from the brim, up into the body, and gently merge into the crown, keeping the spiral pattern continuous throughout the Hat.

This Hat pattern is also available as part of the 'Textured Beanie Collection'.

Sizes:

• To fit size: 16 (18, 21, 23) inches, 40.75 (45.75, 53.25, 58.5) cm
• Finished size: 13 (15.25, 17.5, 19.5) inches, 33 (38.75, 44.5, 49.5) cm

Materials:

• 100g/201m/220yds Cascade 220
  OR 100g/224m/245yds Brown Sheep Nature Spun Worsted
• Set 4mm DPNs
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers as necessary
• Gauge 20sts x 30rows to 10cm/4inches

• Knit and purl stitches
• Knitting in the round
• Increase & decrease techniques
• Twisted stitches
