A Time For Hats

This artistic compilation will feature 23 of Woolly Wormhead's most popular designs photographed in and around the atmospheric and multi-dimensional Time Machine installation in Italy.

The Time Machine was a community project, built by the Mutoid Waste Company, during the late 1990's, and is a popular backdrop for Woolly's photography. The location of the installation is somewhere where Woolly spends many months of the year, living and working. All things considered, it seems only appropriate that this sculpture should be the theme for Woolly's 5th book.

The Time Machine has a wonderful affect upon the light, and so the photography will be shot at different times of the day, and during the different seasons, to truly capture the magic of this installation.

Each design will include full pattern instructions, with charts where appropriate, and the same attention to detail and range of sizes that knitters have come to expect from her patterns. Also included will be a detailed techniques section, and a chapter on the installation itself and the artists who contributed to it's build.

This collection is due for release Summer/Autumn 2012.
